The peaceful location, surrounded by picturesque farmland and walking paths, offers a serene retreat.The dining facilities impressed me with their fantastic breakfast and a good menu at reasonable prices. The staff, though our German was limited, were exceptionally accommodating and went out of their way to assist us. I appreciated the presence of vending machines offering essentials like fresh bread, eggs, and beverages, a thoughtful touch for guests.While the hotel may feel slightly isolated, its central location for exploring the area is advantageous. The option for Wi-Fi, even though I didn't get to use it due to the language barrier, ensures connectivity for guests needing it. The on-site restaurant serves great food, and the presence of farm animals adds to the authentic Bavarian experience.In conclusion, Gasthaus Zum Hirschen offers a good value proposition for families seeking a peaceful getaway with Bavarian charm.
